Tail light problem

I'm going to continue to troubleshoot this weekend, but I wanted to throw this out to see if anyone else has had this problem.

I have a 2010 E90.

I noticed yesterday that the passenger side outside brake lights were out. LED's still worked fine with all LED's lighting.

I replaced the bulbs with new bulbs, but still not working. I never got an alarm on my display about having a light out.

I'm going to use my multimeter to test the power coming in thru the wiring harness asap and to see if I have continuity thru the bulb socket mounting piece going to the bulbs.

Has anyone seen anything like this?

It's common that the bulb holder(the plastic piece that clips into the lens assembly and holds the 2 bulbs) goes bad. I believe they run about $18.00..

Ok, bringing this back. I've bought and replaced the bulb holder. Didn't fix the issue. Anybody got any ideas? I'm going back to googling it.
