That's what I thought, but then started to second guess myself (and my dyno results) when people pointed out the was no "0-100% status bar" changes after hitting "apply". Good to know, Merry Christmas. |

If he wasn't seeing a big change in Boost after upping the % maybe he didn't let the ecu adapt?? When I upped my settings it took a bit before I could log increased boost.

Don't we adjust the boost (%-setting) and ignition is what adapts - not the boost?
How much more boost one should be able to log by an inrease of 2 percentages? |

And if you have the time, disconnect the negative battery terminal for an hour to reset the ECU and adapt from scratch. |

The number you're changing is a percentage of maximum torque available. The ignition and methodology of how it's all controlled is really a question for Shiv or maybe Eugen.

Looks like the boost is exactly the same. Not too many explanations. If the ambient temp was clearly lower with the higher settings, the boost could be dialed down the same amount that the settings brought it up.

those graphs are different. Especially boost wise. Yeah maybe with some adapting it will change.. but it is holding a higher amount of boost longer. The nice part is the way it was tuned it is keeping very similar characteristics while boost is increased.
