Recirc not working

I've had my e90 for a few months now, in that time I've never had the recirc button actually turn on. Simply put, when you hit the recirc button, nothing happens. No lights turn on, nothing. Any thoughts on what may be causing this?

Updating, I think the problem is the right side of the control panel has no LED to light up. The other buttons also have no LED light, though they do work. Is it possible to replace the light inside the control panel?
