Afternoon all,

i am currently driving a 2008 E92 325D M Sport,
this had ambient lightin (shines down the doors a orangey colour) which is great for night time driving, which i do a lot of.

My question is, i am currently looking at a 2011 E92 LCI 330D M Sport
will this have ambient lighting? and/or can it be retrofitted???

If it has the lighting package it will have them as standard
if not you can buy the loom so I would assume it can be retrofitted.

So if i check the vin decoder, will the option be 'Lighting Package'

The under door handle lights are white, not orange?

The puddle lights are white, the interior ones are orange. I'm sure I read they could be coded to white too though.

Sorry, probably should have said that i meant interior ambient lighting not the access lights under the door handles
Interior ambient lighting on my car runs all door under the black strip just below

Extended lighting, which includes the ambient lighting you're asking about, comes as standard on all varients of the E92 LCI.
