Driveway Near Boston?

Hello Fellow New Englanders,

I am looking to see if anyone has a driveway near Boston that I can use every once in a while to hand-wash my E93. I have the supplies, but no space. I would be willing to compensate via money, food, drink, coding, technical knowledge, help, ect..

I would really appreciate it as my car becomes filthy from street-parking.

Thanks all,
Chris

Just go to the car wash booths at off hours. Over the summer, I'd go almost every Sunday morning at 8-9 AM. No one there, and the crowd comes in by the time I'm drying/waxing. Where in the city are you located?

You can stop by my place in Woburn anytime. I'm about 15 mins from downtown.

I'm on Marlborough St in the back bay. I've used the self-service bays before (bringing my own soap/wash water/mitt/ect..) but it becomes a hassle very quickly. I may try to rent a garage spot outside of the city soon considering that I only use the car in the warmer months.

They make self wash bay car kits.

You can kinda make your own with a pair of Home Depot buckets and covers. Premix you soap and fill the bucket and Soak the Mitt before heading to the bay.

That is exactly what I have been doing. However, it has been difficult to manage the reliability of the wash with the limited water.

Try a rinseless wash like Optimum No Rinse. I originally bought it during water restrictions when I lived in NC, but it was great when I lived in a Boston apartment too (or in the winter using a warm bucket of water). Even though I have a hose & driveway now, I still prefer the rinseless wash.

I wouldn't use it on a really really dirty car, but probably best to run that through a touchless wash first anyway.

Fan of ONR, but it seems no matter how many clean microfibers I use, I'll get away with swirls. I'll stick to a full wash at the booth with Meguiars Gold Class + Ult. Quik Wax. I do want to try some more of the Sonax line however. Hadley

I did my winterizing of the car a few weeks ago. i ended up using CarPro's Reload and so far it looks like its holding up. I'll be going touchless washes pretty much throughout winter. Then correct everything in the spring
