Ah, I'm disappointed with you - I thought you were gonna go for the new Escort Max360 & give us all your impressions

I would go by RadarRoy impressions, but I have the distinct feeling Escort pays him for glowing reviews - as he has never had ANYTHING bad to say about any Escort product

Apparently Escort has had overwhelming response, when I talked with them today they stated the unit was released middle of Oct, but every single unit coming out of production is still going to fill backorders...

At any rate I'm still running Escort Max w/Escort Live, until I break down & sell my current unit on the forum & pick up the 360 once the fervor dies down & all the release 'bugs' are ironed out with firmware update

Hah Yeah I was looking at the max but i do
Mostly highway driving and I needed the range of a v1. I'm thinking about getting it fully customized with the Bluetooth adapter which is basically valentines answer to escort live. Who knows, I'm really new in the radar detector game.

I'm running a escort 9500ix with a custom hardware into the light switch compartment and a dual BMW laser interceptor. All the hardware plus waze makes road trips and long drives safe, stealthy, and uninterrupted

I'm running a Beltronics STI-R set up with the remote detector hidden in the lower grille.

Can't really see it with the bumper grille on.

But it sure can see the popo's...

V1 mounted upper windshield by passenger visor. Hard wired to fuse box. Run it in dark mode and get the display on my tablet with YaV1 android app.

I use a samsung tablet to run Waze and YaV1 in split screen/multiwindow. Still tinkering with my set up as I just got my e90 3 weeks ago.

Same here, except the radar sensor is behind the bumper where nobody can see it, works great. Here's the control buttons (center) and display (right):

Cool. I was working on a similar approach but I didn't like how the cutouts for the display and control turned out so I'm planning on a different approach now.

Still working on it but I'll hide the display behind a tinted glass panel instead this time so it'll only be visible when activated.

I suggest putting the display on the R and the buttons on the L, that way its easier to hit the mute button or volume control while driving.

Not a bad idea although I'm scraping this idea/design and going completely in a different direction. It's still a work in progress but I'll post up my new set up when it's complete

I have a V1 and wanted to do somewhat of a stealth install, decided to get a gauge from VEI systems. The radar itself will be mounted off the headliner in the rear and currently working on mounting the gauge near the vent.

Is there a product like the "stealth one" for the e39 that integrates the VI display directly into the OBC display? Loved having the arrows and signal right where you need it.
