Great work man, I am definitely interested in doing this as well.

Mind posting some close ups? (zoom in on the fitment of the tips in the diffuser and the extra space around them)

I just found this thread since I bought a replica M-tech rear bumper with the same stock diffuser you cut, and I was wondering what you used to cut into it before smoothing the edges with a dremel? I'm worried that if I use a hand-held razorblade knife it will easily slip and cut too much..

Probably quite a few things could work but I used something like this http://www.amazon.com/Rockwell-RC510.../dp/B004C3BUAA

Thanks, I actually used a circular grinding bit on a Dremel for the big chunks of the cutout, then a small rotary bit for fine tuning and smoothing of the edges for the final stage. It's hard to see the details in this picture, but here is my final result:

These all look really nice! Kudos to you all!

Something I may consider in the future, a bit harder for me coming from:
a) an N52 with no muffler or piping on passenger side
b) stock non-sport bumper without a diffuser (though maybe that's worth an upgrade before proceeding with this)

Hamaan makes a piece for quads for stock rear bumper so when you cut your stock bumper to fit it covers it up
