N54 335i Turbosmart BOV silent?

Hi all,
I bought a dual BOV from turbosmart, installed it on a stock 335i AUTOMATIC , only other mod I have is mishimoto intercooler. And it's almost completely quite or is quite because at high RPMs im not sure if its turbo noise or BOV when I release the pedal. I know that on auto cars they are not as loud from what I have read but I tried with parked car, bring RPM to 2k-6k release the gas pedal and nothing...If i hold it to like 6k RPMs and release it kind of makes VERY dull quite whoosh sound or more like hiss lol but nothing nearly loud or even noticeable and that's with the hood open and door open carefully listening.

What makes me think something is wrong is that when i disconnected vacuum lines going to one of the BOVs there was no hissing sound maybe some very slight air sound but with the engine running you can't hear it.

Also I put my phone to record a video right where the release to atmosphere opening on the BOV while i press the gas, and the valve was not opening at any time... i would assume it moves down and you'd be able to see it but no...

I looked at every connection and it seems fine, I replaced some vacuum lines, going by oil filter that commonly fail but no improvements. Am i doing something wrong? How come I don't hear hissing noise when i disconnect vacuum lines? The car has no codes and seems to run fine(although i only got it two weeks ago and don't know what it supposed to run like but comparing to my older 540i it's faster.

Lmk if you have any ideas.

I had the same issue when I first installed my Tial BOV.

Open your hood and have another person look at the BOV's while you rev hard in Park. If the BOV's are smoothly and consistently moving up and blowing off, then it's working.

If not, take apart the BOVs and clean them.

My BOV was a bit sticky and wasn't moving well. My Indy took it apart, cleaned up some old grease/oil and the BOV has been working well since.

Tial's BOV is extremely quiet when my hood is closed. I only hear it faintly when I rev past 5k rpm. Maybe the turbosmarts are also very quiet?

Drive it hard. Let the car adapt a bit. If you don't experience any loss of boost, then there is nothin wrong.

BOV's aren't quieter on automatics, they just open less often because you don't take your foot off the gas to shift. If you wanted a loud BOV that you could hear, you should have researched for loud BOV's, plenty of info out there.

Since your only other mod is a a front mount, I'm assuming you're not running a tune? If that's the case and you're running stock boost levels, of course the BOV is going to be quiet; it's hardly venting any pressure.

When you're parked, you're not really building boost since there isn't load on the engine. It's not a great way to test your BOV.
