Hi I am trying to replace my chrome gear knob (it's peeling) with a wood/leather one to match the wood trim in my car. There seems to be plenty for sale on ebay in various countries but not many e90. All I want to do is just replace the top part so are there any other models that would fit, EG there is one for sale in spain that says for e38,e39,e46,e90?

Same fitment for most BMW's I believe, I know E39 / E46 owners fit the E90 leather & chrome one as an upgrade/mod.

Have you gotten anywhere with this? I also have been looking for a matching wood-trimmed automatic transmission shifter for my car for some time now and have come up empty. I think the stock "plastic chrome" insert on the face of the shifter looks really cheap in the middle of all that wood and leather.
