So as far as i see it i only have two options for a clutch either
Spec Stage 3+
Or Twin disk PTF

Its about 500 dollar difference which isn't too bad.
My main concern is drivability.
I've read reviews but haven't been able to find a straight answer.
I will be daily driving this car and taking it to the drag strip once in a while.

Go with the Motiv full face twin disk. You wont regret it! Smooth, very lil to no chatter, feels almost like stock. Holds 740 whp on my e90 with no problems.

I'm not sure if you ordered from us but we stock and ship the 2 2+ and 3+ same business day.

Eitherway. I'm sure you'll be fine.

Going Spec Stg. 3, Mfactory steel smfw. I'll mess around with idle as well and check back after break in.

Picked up my car...50 miles

Not too much chatter yettttt.....didn't touch my idle. I think it is an absolutely necessity to get your clutch installed at a reputable shop. I choose MNC in Oceanside over my my other Indy. I am also fully catless with an exhaust so sounds are all over the place in my car.

***edit***
Idle at 850 now, unless you are listening for it, raising the idle does the trick to minimize chatter. 900 should be golden like others have said.

Mfactory for the win.

Feel is almost softer if not the same as oem, hoping it will firm up. Very DDable, and I drive in NYC.

The clutch is grabby, but this is how a car should feel, instant feedback. Back to throttle blipping first gear to engage.

Will update after break in.

did you got stage 3 or 3+? Also where in NYC are you? I'd like to meet up with a local person to see what their clutch is like. I'm kind of leaning towards the 335is/550 clutch, but not sure yet.

I went with the 3+, full face plate. In bkln. I almost went 335is clutch, it's even sitting in my trunk if you are interested. I got a really good deal on the 3+. No regrets whatsoever.

The is clutch would have been suitable for my needs though since I am only fbo.

And feel free to pm me, if u wanna feel the clutch out.

Was just going to ask this, has anyone got a spec 2+ to slip on a single turbo? I'm shooting for around 600. Its rated for about 535 tq from what I remember, also heard clutch companies underrate the power?

They are underrated for sure but when you go single there isn't that strong torque in the low RPM rage like the twins have. That's why single turbo guys can get away with the 2+.

535 tq at the flywheel but she definitely has more left in it. How much more, I don't know for sure, unfortunately.

You can always tune the car to keep the torque in check if you want to stick with the 2+

Well I went with a 6266 to keep the torque there still, whatever we'll see what happens on the spec. I def love the clutch on the dmfw, well see what happens when I switch out to a single mass.
