Guys really should stop supporting our princess fantasies.

You don't need to do this kind of stuff with females who are actually desirable. Don't let the inclusion of a vagina fool you into thinking that any interested female is desirable.

Agreed. The vagina may be more desirable than the carrier.

Depends on the situation.

For current gf:

Dinners between $100-$200
Flowers on bday Valentine's Day $75-$100
Jewelry $1500
Vacations between $4000-$7000

I get the same in return or more

After 46 years of marriage, the money costs are immeasurable. And that doesn't count the 5 years before we got married.

Having said that, it has been well worth it.

So from what I'm reading on this thread.

Don't get a girlfriend and blow all the money on cars?

Cause that doesn't bother me one bit.

We are not big on gifts and vacation time is shared. In the USA we have no family members to take the kids off of our hands, and he travels a lot for his job, so his four weeks is spent by him and the kids, while I go burn my tires.

As an exchange he gets three hot meals per day, he doesn't need to know how to change oils, he knows I handle the shit that lands on our porch and that if I spot his bicycle tire being low on air, I change the tire before he takes off in the morning.

The few times ive gotten home all messed up, limping, tired, with a black eye and all sorts of pissed he hands me a beer, and tells me there is an other fight still in me.

When ever a kid is sick and i can't sleep, eat or handle anything beyond waiting the moment I doze off to wake up with my nightmares again, he takes over all the family routines.

That isn't flowers or candy but it works for us. And I keep losing my socks.
Damn this post is as real as it gets. You can't always get what you want but sometimes you get what you need.
