Anyone local know how to remove a JB4?

Need a hand after being fcuked over by a garage today [ had my car all day to remove it and then say cant do it until Tuesday]

So if anyone can help it would be awesome.

I'm in Watford. It's really not hard though. You should be able to do it no probs. 45 minute job for a first timer.

OK may have to have a go myself, cant be that difficult !!!

It's not. You need a few small sockets, and something like a toothpick to get the connectors out. They only go in one way, so you can't reall screw that up either. There is a guide on the burger tuning site.

You can avoid unplugging the bonnet alarm trigger too if you twist it upside down. Just make sure the car is asleep before you unplug anything, and obviously open the bonnet before locking car. Make sure its off the alarm though else you'll lift it and alarm will go off.

I agree with djgandy

The biggest hassle is taking all the shrouding off...removing the JB4 and re-plugging in the loom into the original sockets should be straight forward.

The power lead that is plugged in , do you have to do anything else other than just removing it?

Is that the orange wire? If yes it goes into the green plug
