Kumho tyre profile increase?

Hi all,

Has anyone got Kumho KU39's?

My current rear P Zero runflats are 255/30/19 but appear stretched.

Is it worth going up to 265 on the Kumho's or are they a 'wide' tyre so to speak?

Thanks,
Craig

PZeros just look like that.

I had the standard fit 255/35r18 tyres on my rear MV3's and they looked horribly stretched with the Pirellis. They didnt seem to grip very well either and were worn out, so i binned them and fitted some eagle F1's which look nice and square.

Thanks, TyreLeader didn't have 255/30 when I searched after posting so I guess its 265/30

Of the same size?
As above I can't get 255/30/19 in the KU39's but they stock 265/30 so I'll go with them.

Just wanted to make sure the extra width wouldn't rub.

You won't notice such a small increase in profile. And they are a great tyre.

Update:
Just had 235/35/19 & 265/30/19 fitted.

The rears are catching the arches with the spacers I have on

12mm front and 15mm rear.

So I think I will try 12mm on the rear and take them off the front to see if that helps...

I liked my spacers tho lol.

kumho's run a little wider than other tyres i've noticed... had 265 toyos and falkens which were smaller than the kumho and a 275 vredestein which was a tiny bit wider.... i would say the 265 is actually a 270 lol...

Thanks! At least I know I can transfer the 12mm's on the front to the rear.

May pick another set of 12's up for the front after.
