These fringe characters, the awful storylines of the kids, and the general lack of star power is turning in to a snoozefest.

Absolutely awful mid-season finale and almost no direction for the story.

Wow, great point about Daryl. He's basically the fan favorite and he shows up in the....epilogue? WTF AMC, just terrible all the way around.

The mid-season "finale" was disappointing. I wanted an all-out war with the zombies. And that Damien kid should have died at the end. She has 2 weird kids. One has to go.

Damien . I think he's going to cause a lot more problems throughout the other half of the season. Also the other kid that never leaves his bedroom is going to get someone killed.

I guess I'm in the minority here again, but I'm NOT watching it for the zombies. They seem just far too easy to kill, there isn't some "elite" crew of healthy zombies, so they are just background noise. They real genius of this show IS the character development/interaction. You and I probably have ZERO experience to compare with this, unless you had the misfortune to grow up in a war zone. How many people you loved would have to die before you lost your humanity? 0, 1, 15? Would you go feral the minute the apocalypse started, or would you value life? Running around in a group of dogs raping every female you found?

IF they pretend to eat the little kid, will the other zombies stay away?

Completely agree. I enjoyed the finale and was surprised at how quickly it went by. I find the scenes with the wolves, saviors, etc far more interesting than the zombies. Really anxious for Negan to be introduced. Great casting there.
