325d lci nozzle upgrade.
been looking at changing the standard 325d injector nozzles I would appreciate any advice on what car I need to get the nozzles from for it to work .Celtic tuning do this for there stage 2 remap on the 325d and get good results .I gave them a bell today to find out the right nozzles but they say the tuner has gone.as I said any feedback would be cool cheers

Probably just M57 330d ones.
If its an M57, then the engines pretty much identical to the 330d with the exception of the injectors. Fit some 330d injectors and it'll map up just the same as a 330d. |

I was thinking about the codding side when I replace the injectors no need if I just do the nozzles seems that Celtic tuning say you can use 530d 218bhp e46 330d or x5 218bhp I was think why not e90 330d nozzles myself but they chose not, maybe am missing something here.

AFAIK the earlier stuff wont fit. At least not if you get the whole injector
the M57N2 injectors are top feed, whereas the M57N injectors (E46 etc) are side feed. If it were me, i'd get stock E90 330d injectors, and flash the BMW 330d software onto the ECU, then simply tune it like you would a 330d. |

mine is the m57n2 with side feed that's why am looking at the early stuff it wont work with the 330d injector because its top feed and the fuel line pipes will be wrong I think that's why only a few have done this to a 325d I don't want to put a 2005 injectors in a 2009 car when I can put brand new nozzles in for less money. think the only ones that fit and are side feed are early 530d or maybe 535d but am unsure I thought this would be easier that its turning out .

Interesting, i figured the 325d just used smaller versions of the 330d injectors.
In that case yes, you'll need to either use a hybrid injector using e46 nozzles, or buy early 535d injectors. The early 535d's use the same side feed injector pipes and fuel rail as your 325d. My brother fitted 535d injectors to his 320d recently. I think he found a supplier on German Ebay that were pretty cheap, circa 150€ per injector. Also of note, E90 320d M47 engines (and a few other models) use the same injectors as the E46 330d, so if you want the E46 330d parts you might find some 320d injectors cheaper. |

the injector they use to detune the 325d is from a 318d according to realoem . the 320d uses the same injector as the 330d e90 but there all top feed on the n47 .on the m47n2 they are side feed but don't flow much more than the 318d e90 injectors .think am going to get brand new nozzles for the 530d e60.

Good morning
I'm not sure who you spoke to earlier in the week, however, for Stage 2, we had the nozzles retipped by a company called Diesel Bob Tuning http://www.dieselbob.co.uk/ I hope this helps someone out. Kind regards Celtic Tuning Team |

That said, the M47N2 will tune to over 200hp on its stock injectors, and you'll have 6 of them rather than 4, so you should be able to achieve 300hp. I would be tempted to just go for the bigger 535d ones however, given that the D3 Alpina based on the M47N2 engine uses those 535d injectors. |

craigs came from german ebay. part number is 0445110219 IIRC.
I guess you need to give dieselbob a call and find the price he'd take to rebuild your existing injectors with the 535d nozzles, and then compare that with the cost of new ones. |
