E90 High Gloss shadow line trim

At a bit of an odds end about what action to take regarding my shadow line trim and interested to hear from members that have either replaced it or wrapped/plastidipped it?

For the most part the trim is ok apart from the follow bits 1&2 on the diagram, it really brings down the look of the car having them all worn/faded looking

I've been able to find the parts on ebay but how easy or difficult is switching them?

or if anyone had plastidipped then glossified could you post a pic up? do people even coat the window rubber in plastidip as the pics I've seen online it looks like they have.

Any input would be appreciated.

I bought a gloss black paint pen from eBay which was designed for a shotgun from memory. I ran around the edges to hide the silver.

Looks spot on and you can only see the slight difference when you get really up close.

Much cheaper than all other options.

Without seeing how bad yours are, have you considered a simple polish?

Shadowline tends to mark and haze after a while, some SRP works wonders in bringing back the shine.

First I've heard of this method, any pics? is the finish smooth enough?

Not got pics mate but it's far gone, turned white in bits and really badly oxidized.

SRP did work wonders on the upper trim round the rear door etc but not so much on the channel covers on the door.
