E92 Front Corner Splitters Gap

Just went to fit the front splitters on the car and noticed they don't fit quite flush on one side. Anyone had similar or know how to sort it ?

They look like quite a good fit.

A thin strip of 3M or similar double sided tape on the splitter where the gap is will sort that a treat.

I tried pushing with some force and the gap wont disappear

On the plus side, the passenger side is fine in terms of fit (i.e. i can push it in flush)

How about popping the fog light grille out as they give quite a lot of strength to the bumper.

That might give you enough flex to secure the splitter with tape then refit the grille.

From the back buddy. Whip the arch liner out and you'll see the tabs.

Also you could walm the bumper with a heat gun to give it a bit of flex

Where are the splitters from? Depending upon source usually dictates the quality of finish. But if one side fits well then get on to the company and ask for a replacement. Otherwise you could try tigerseal and pushing the bumper out from the back to hold it in place till the tigerseal goes off.

Forgive me if I'm wrong but it looks like the front right tip and the back edge needs some gentle fettling just to allow that left side to tick back in a bit. When you press the item back does it foul the bodywork hard elsewhere?

The problem seems to be the back of the splitter that wrap round the arch is too tight hence the issues at the front. I'm going to try and pop the fog shroud out this W/E and take a look. May have to shave the back of the splitter with a dremmel at the arch wrap around.
