Charcoal Filter Mod For 335i?
Hey Guys,
I'll be getting my BMC filter early next week, and I've been doing some reading around the forum. I saw some old threads describing a charcoal filter that could be removed in the 06' e90's (i.e. 325's/330's). The e90 guys got the idea from the M5 forum where they were doing this to get power gains. Here is a link to the DIY: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...harcoal+filter Have been doing some searching, and there is really no information on this charcoal filter in terms of the 335i. Does the 335i even have this filter? (sorry for the ignorant question.. I'm at work and can't go down to take the car apart and see if it's there.. lol). If so, has anyone tried removing it? Does it provide a significant power gain? For all the people with 335i's and BMC/K&N filters out there... when you dropped in the filter, did you also remove the charcoal filter (if it actually exists in our cars).
