how to add amp without Technic harness?
If I code my CIC HU from base stereo to hifi and don't have a Technic harness. How should I connect the amp? Cut the speaker wires to make RCA connectors?

Well if you want to make your own Harness.
Well if you want to make your own Harness.
It's pretty much stereo 101. Take the speaker outs and run them to the trunk . Split the under seat speakers from the front door speakers. Either run new wires into the doors or use the existing door wiring. Run new speaker wire to each of the locations where your amp channels are. Its best if you get factory connectors for at least the under seats and it would be a good idea for the doors if you are using the factory wiring. One of the major purposes of using a harness is to not cut wires meaning factory connectors are used and every thing is labeled. also Technic adds pro touches like coverings for his wire bundles. |

Yes, if i can make my own harness that would be even better. Because Technic harness is on backorder until middle February. I found the pinouts of the HU. so am i supposed to take a pair of speaker wires(for example, one FR+, one FR-) to make a RCA connector and then run RCA cable to the trunk where I intent to install the amp. |

If I was making one I think it would be easier
If I was making one I think it would be easier to make
one by intercepting the wires at the side panels and under seats. |
