Angle Eyes
sorry for the noob post. though I've owned the 335 for several years, I've failed at learning about it.
It seems I have an angle eye LED bulb out. They are aftermarket bulbs that the previous owner installed, so I'm not sure exactly what brand they are or what color. It appears I'll need to replace both sides to ensure they match properly. What are the forum's favorite angle eye replacements, and is there a how-to write up on how to replace them?

You can go cheap or expensive.
I have LUX brand and love them, they are the more expensive kind at $200+ but they are a huge improvement over stock. As far as changing them if you have big hands it's a lot harder but essentially all you do is take a plastic piece off of the back of your headlight. Put your hand in the tiny space and turn the bulb out and then take the new bulb and turn it in. Also connecting the harness. For a person who isn't very car diy savy it took me less then an hour. Hope that helps good luck! Do a forum search to find write ups with pics. Lux V5 Installed http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1080258 |
