FMIC Installed!

All I can say is that there is a lot of fasteners, and ER is it too hard to include a couple pictures?
Over all went well. I struggled harder getting the charge pipe in last month!

My point was that it could have been provided in their instructions and I would not have to have done hours of googling and watching youtubes.

I agree. If you're paying that kind of money, it should come with some kind of documentation.

I hope i am clear here, they do have a decent write up, but as they say a picture is worth a thousand words...

Funny thing is most manufacturers don't include instructions, ER is actually the most detailed when it comes to instructions for their products.

Too muddy and cold to test.
Way more substantial than the original.
A couple pics would have saved one head scratching

I'm sure they'd appreciate the feedback. Even better if you could provide specifics or a picture to lend them for future instructions.

Here are a couple of videos I referenced to get my 7" VSRF Intercooler in below. Helped tremendously, but ended up making a custom mounting system since the holes didn't line up correctly.

I bought and installed a Mishimoto which works great and install was tit. I live in FL (HOT) and it helped ALOT. No problems here. If I had to do it all over again, a big VRSF would have been no problem.

Once you get under there, you can see where to cut and it's not a big deal. I bought the Mishismoto because the swap was easy and the cooling vs the larger one was negligible.

My .02. Merry Christmas!

It was actually less than an inch. About 3/4 inch...And nothing on the vertical sections.
It went in nice and snug. Wasnt hard fitting it using a jack to hold it up in place while playing around with getting it where it needed to be.

I live in Jacksonville Beach.

As an aside, had I known in advance, I would have bought eh 7" and cut where needed simply to be done with it and have slightly better cooling.

I DO live the Mishimoto as fitiment is excellent. Also very easy install but the amount of cutting needed on the larger FMIC is minimal.

Agree, the cutting part is very overrated
