Hi,

I recently discovered that my 2011 E90 can play DVDs, and have done a little coding to allow 'video in motion'. This got me wondering if its possible to also play other video formats, such as XViD/DivX/mp4/mkv?

Also, if even possible, are these playable from USB or only from a burned DVD?

I believe I have the 'combox' but after a lot of searching am still not 100% sure. I believe my manufacture date was 06-2011.

To know if you have a Mulf/Combox, needs to see in your trunk because you didn't tell what are the options in your car, yes if you have BT and/or USB.
From what I remind only mp4 are readable but with addp BT you theorically can play what is on your smartphone, more possible with iphone, don't know, I haven't.

I can play music over USB and BT, but I'll check in the boot. I didn't have success trying playing from a USB stick yesterday but I'll try burning a DVD
