I done the Alpina b3 flash to my 335i E93 today, via the help of a forum member " Cryptomit " Very happy with the results, they are what i expected them to be after reading numerous posts. It was all done via remote coding, he didnt need to even leave his house and neither did i . Easy and straight forward. The guy really does know what he is doing, he is a computer genius. Any questions please just ask. This is the way your 335i auto gearbox should be programmed if you are running anything but standard power. HAPPY.

I had it done at my own house, the guy basically installs all the programs via internet to you laptop then i take the laptop to the car, plug it in then its all done. Remote coding. The guy really knows what hes doing. Im over the moon with the tranny now. MHD maps + Alpina B3= beast. All from the comfort of your own home He doesnt even need to leave his own bed...

Nice to hear. I've always toyed with the idea but never when through with it as I've heard that in D the car becomes really docile. How do you find d mode?

I'd love the improved performance in DS and M but not for my everyday drive so still need D to give a decent drive

The only difference in D mode for me is that is obviously the quick gear changes but instead of the gears going from 1-6 to 50mph it does it to 40mph. But ive heard some people complaining about when you half accelerate it doesn't extend the distance between gear changes (rev longer), but it should and mines works fine. For my car the Alpina flash works as it should. Faster gear changes up and down with perfect rev matching going down. The D mode only changes gear quicker within a smaller mph, like a more eco mode. I like it overall.

Buy a dcan cable if you havnt got one. Then contact the forum member and ask him if he will do it for you. He doesnt need to be at your house. All remotely via internet, then plug laptop into car. Easy

Programming any module via internet without a proper power supply connected to car is very, very risky, even if flashing takes 6-8 minutes. You are more than lucky

He is only installing software to the laptop via team viewer remotely. Then just connecting laptop to obd for installation of Alpina flash. It is recommended to have the car on charge while flashing even though it only takes 2 minutes max..

There is someone who is extremely proficient at this and he is a regular on this very forum. He has coded countless members cars, including mine.
If you are in the London area he is the only one worth considering.
Drive in. Meet him. He does it there and then in 10 mins. Really nice chap and not a single member who has met him has ever had a bad thing to say. And he does it for a really good price.

Cryptomit is the guy that done mine. As i said you don't even need to take your car anywhere and nobody even needs to come to your house. Easy as pie...send him a pm..
