Scratched Left Front Lower Lip - Options ??
I was backing out of the driveway today and the corner of my driveway is lipped (raised) and I backed out over that part. As the front tire came down over the lip, I heard a big scratch. I thought it might have gotten lucky and just caught the underplate, but not so. The left front lower lip is all scratched to crap and it is obvious when viewed head-on. I have included a picture of the car head-on and a close-up of the scratch. The pictures were taken tonight, so I apologize for the clarity.
What are my options here? Can it be patched or fixed or would it just be cheaper for me to order a new left front lower lip from BMW? I checked the BMW USA site and the MSRP on the left front carbon fiber lower lip is $299. I do not have the carbon fiber, so what is the part number and price on the stock left front lower lip? My car is obviously jet black. Any insight appreciated. Thanks in advance! |

get a hartge lip ($250) or CF lips ($460)....yours will look good. The after market Hartge lip installation may be a pain in the ass, but it will look awesome after.
