Sounds like the OP is just annoyed his new car isn't perfect, and to be fair i think most of us would be too. However you have been lucky to find a dealer that is willing to refund you in full or repairs. Is this your first car buying experience??

I would have taken the refund on offer, as how much confidence can you have in a car that breaks on the drive back...

To me it seems that the dealer did do everything to sort the problems...to leave such a bad taste in the OP's mouth something must of been off. Any car listed As ready for sale should be able to be driven away same day. The fact that it had no undertray on - why was it off ? should of told the OP over the phone it wasn't ready and why (assume op phoned first?). To dissapoint a customer is not the best way to start customer satisfaction!

I agree. Perhaps it wasn't the best preparation by the dealer. But even BMW dealers make mistakes!

The important thing is they didn't fob him off after, which is what every dealer does, rightly or wrongly. They offered him a refund or paid for repairs, which is unknown in this industry.

This dealer should be applauded for at least doing the right thing when the majority don't give a shit after you drive off.

I bought my E90 from the Williams Group (Williams Rochdale) and found the process brilliant. I couldn't fault their customer service.

The only niggle I've had so far is them not stamping and updating my service history... I'll hopefully be buying from them again.
