pre lci xenon upgrade - self levelling
about to embark on this mod, about to hit as many threads as i can find to work out what needs to be done.
first thing i've sussed out is the self levelling headlights part. am i right in thinking if the headlights move when you turn them on (the beam moves upwards) that i've already got self levelling halogens? |

Not neccesarily, thats just a self test of the levelling motors. Most (all?) halogen cars will have manual levelling.
If you have a knob on the dash to move the beam up and down (usually between settings 0-1-2-3 or similar) then you dont have self levelling. I think its next to the headlight switch? |

thanks for the swift reply.
didn't think to look for that. just been out to the car and i have the manual levelling dial. 0-1-2, left of the headlight switch. will factor that into the plans. if anyone reads this and has the link to the BMW pdf for doing this job, let me have that link please? |
