Need ideas for my exhaust
I'd a ton of search but still can't come up with a good conclusion.
I have a e92, so, stock is x-pipe not resonator. now I have n54tuning downpipe (catless), otherwise all stock. I loved the exhaust sound, but not pronounce enough. I would like a louder deep tone with a bit of cracking and popping, which solution is the best? 1. Cut out 2nd cat and replace with 1792 2. Cut out 2nd cat, replace with 1792 and muffler delete 3. Cut out 2nd cat, muffler and replace with 2 1792 and 2 1141. 4. Cut out muffler replace with 1792 5. Cut out 2nd cat with NO resonator replacement (straight pipe that section) If anyone has the above set up and can provide feedback/ video. That would be great. Cheers! |

I thought about that but being in Canada, shipping and exchange rate sucks. a vanguard exhaust will cost me ~2300 CAD installed. but if I mod my exhaust, it will be upward of 400.
and leave the 2nd cat alone? One thing I wanted to do is cut 2nd cat off for good since it get rid of the possibility of having a clogged 2nd cat. |

Leave secondary cats alone and just do PE mod! With downpipes it's going to pop💥

Sorry forget that I should add I want 2nd cat gone because I read a couple thread saying that over the years 2nd will clog up and cause problems in our cars.

You could always try replacing your factory X pipe with one of our Tru-X pipes. These will deepen the tone of your exhaust, and usually make it a few decibels louder. The nice part is, these are still resonated so you wont get the raspiness usually associated with aftermarket H/X pipes.
