Adaptive AHL Xenon E59C Fault

Guys,

my car came with the adaptive xenons (probably after some accident) but they were not working.

I have change the wiring in order to make them work, run extra cable between the Junction Box and FRM for the Can cable, replaced the FRM from XE to LED AHL (I have the LCI E92) -all lights are working correctly, just the AHL are not.

I have changed the VO in both FRM and CAS, recode almost all units with Expert profile, but I'm still having the E59C fault (E59C Telegram PT-CAN steering angle timeout)

I have even replace the cable between the JBB and FRM, but stil having the same issues.

If I start the car or If I'm checking the SMC's from Rheingold, the lights are moving in correct direction, after the FRM replacement, but there is missing CAN signal from the Steering Wheel.

Also, after the VO change, I can see the SMC's in NCS Expert and can code them, but they are not visible on INPA?

What am I missing here, or what do I need to check to have the signal working?

then you need to check wiring between frm and ptcan
you are getting error about steering angle data is not coming from SZL which is sending it via DSC.

That what I have already checked, replaced, just to make sure and I still have the issues.

Not sure if I did coded SZL?

Just checked this again, if by any point I have swapped the CAN H and L, I would have problem with communication, right? I don't have that at all.

SZL can't be coded on its own, as it is not appearing on the inpa or NCS and it is done via DSC as you said.

So, I must have signal transmitted correctly between the SZL and DSC as I don’t have any fault, but not going to FRM.

Units involved in this must be CAS and FRM as VO changed, there were coded, KOMBI, DSC, JBE, they have been also coded with Expert Profile after the VO change, but still no signal from JBE to FRM.

Update:

After I was totally desperate and running out of option (updated ZUSB on DSC, FRM) and few more modules I have had still the same problem.

As I was 100% sure the wiring is correct I have swapped the CAN H and L and it has started working.

Can't believe it was this.

Thank you all for the help
