I believe that the power loss oat the wheels is 12% for manuals and 15% for autos, but I could be wrong. Someone posted these numbers in the past and I don't know if it's completely true or not.
The dyno that you see is the numbers at the wheels.

so if a car makes 300bhp, divide 300 by 100 x by the % you quote and then add that figure to the 300bhp?

You're making it more confusing than it should be.
If you have a manual then the equation is this:

Dyno# divided by .88 = crank # (.88 is 1-.12)

Auto equation is:

Dyno# divided by .85 = crank #

Is hp at the crank the same as "brake" horse power, which is the term i always hear used on Top Gear? If not, what is brake horse power?

i see that your air/fuel jumps up like crazy, i dont have the picture for mine but its very lean, starts at 15 and smoothly goes down to 11 thruout the throttle... is there somethin wrong with the car or the software? i'll try to post up the pics later tonight...
