When you are abroad the light should bias the other way. Also when you are driving on hilly or bumpy roads abroad you will blind oncoming cars if you don't switch over. I was getting flashed all the time in Spain until I switched the beam over. |

Some say that. But I have adaptive headlights and have that switch. It adjuts the beams to aim more towards the pavement rather than into traffic.
