What are my options

So a bird pooped on my car while I was at work so I took some water and a rag to try to get rid of it and now I have a scuff mark on my paint. I tried washing it off multiple times and it hasn't seemed to work. Is there anything I can do to get this off? It drives me crazy

What kind of rag did you use that did that to your paint?? Worst case maybe some light buffing might be needed to fix it.

Bad Rag

Needs to be polished out now.

You can google and search the forums on how to polish your car. Materials to purchase ETC ETC

It's an easy job but you need the right tools and products.

You can start with some over the counter polishes but by hand it won't look perfect but definitely better.

Next time use a bug and tar remover and a clean microfiber towel...not water and a rag. Jeez that's painful to look at

I used a microfiber towel I had washed earlier in the day that I usually use to clean the hard to reach parts of my car with. And I used some dasani water. But do you guys recommend a polish brand I should use?

Search for the BOSS with pads and polish/wax from Griots Garrage, then do the rest of the car while your at it. Your paint will thank you!

I use lake country pads (Orange, White Black), Meguairs 105 and 205, DA Random orbital polisher. Talk to the guys at detailed image . com and see if they can recommend a pro in your area. They should not want more then $50 or so to get that corrected. It will be less money then buying all the appropriate polishes, pads and buffer.
