Servicing E90 320D Preston/Lancashire
Coming up to the time for my first service on the E90.
I am in 2 minds whether to do it all myself or go to a local indy. If anybody knows a decent place around Preston/Lancashire please let me know. After getting oil and filter, air filter, pollen filter, fuel filter, change diff and gearbox fluids done. Cars just turned 130,000 and can't find a record of diff/gearbox fluid being changed so thought I would get them done. Parts all seem to be fairly cheap for Mann/Bosch, I think if I am to do most of it myself I will just take the car to national tyres as they will do an oil (fuchs pro-flex full synth) and filter change for £49 which seems like a good price. I am in two minds though as the car had full service history (not BMW) until I got it. So don't know whether to maintain the stamps or not. Last edited by steb9780; 02-04-2016 at 10:58 AM.. |

I can recommend Mike Yardley and Andy Cooper at:
http://www.autotecnik.co.uk/ Both ex BMW technicians, very friendly helpful and excellent service. Their current labour rate is £50 + VAT and they are happy for you to bring your own parts. I usually do most stuff myself but when it's a ramp only job I always use these guys for all our cars. |
