Level 10 trans question

Maybe it has something to do with it, maybe not...

So my car has the alpina flash and level ten torque converter, vb and whatever they do inside the the trans. I noticed today if I put it in manual mode, with the shifter (not paddles) I can only shift it up not down. Is that normal? All other options function normally.

Pull your shifter plate, sounds like a broken wire to me

Sometimes the Alpina flash will cause the paddles not to work, however yours work one way so I'm not sure if that is the issue.

Paddles work fine...both ways.

Its the lever that only works one way...probably a wire.

Broken wires under the console are common. I have seen one of the wires break and the car wouldn't go into sport mode. I do have the alpina flash but I never use the shifter.

On a side note, besides the shifter not shifting down... What are your thoughts on the level 10 stuff? Do you notice a significant difference? What was the total cost?

Oops I misread that. Yes, probably a broken or loose wire.
