Wheels Spinning on Snow/Ice to Catch Grip and Triggering Check Engine Light

Hey so my e90 335i has about 89k on it. Today I was leaving to work and out of my driveway is a small incline so I usually spin my tires just a bit to catch grip, today when I was spinning the tires just slightly I noticed that I got a CEL light. I checked on my COBB v3 and it said o2 sensor, and fuel pump sensor. I cleared the code and it came back when I was spun the tires again, and it only seems like when im spinning the tires is when it triggers the CEL anyone know what problem this is? Or is it just the wheels spinning triggering an error?

edit: it happened when the temp outside was about 10F outside

After coming home from work today, the CEL shows up pretty quickly with regular driving.

codes

List of code and descriptions
P3026=O2 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage, Bank 1 Sensor 1

P29F3 = fuel pressure sensor, electrical

P2CAA= lambda probe before cat, temperature

P2CA6= lambda heating before cat, function

P2C3D - Pre-Cat O2 Sensor Wiring, Bank1

My guess is the LPFP sensor, and front o2 sensor needs replacing.

If those cat codes keep coming back the o2 sensor needs replacement for sure.

As you also suggested LPFP sensor looks to be on the way out too.

Since you're going to have to change the precat o2 you might as well throw some downpipes on

Also cash out on the cobb and get MHD

Just ordered the bank 1 and bank 2 sensors and lpfp sensors on amazon, for total of 350 for bosch o2's and lpfp off amazon all for about 350 with expedited shipping, ECS wanted 450+ for the same parts, going to install them this weekend hopefully all is well after will post results

I'm team cobb! and I wish I had the money for some DP's I just spent 1.5k on my whole winter setup. WS80 blizzaks, some used pair of style 162, TPMS, and thule K summit chains. I think the dp's will be coming this summer, along with a FMIC and time to get this baby at stage 2

I'll speak for OP. Cobb is for lazy people that want it easy lol and it's not like if you switch to MHD you'll gain a magic 30hp lol

Just replaced it with the bosch sensors 17102, and 17098. My LPFP sensor didnt come in at the same time, but I removed the steering rack from under the car and it was a pretty simple switch and fed the o2 sensor from the top of the engine bay. Have not really driven that much, but I cleared the codes from the car before switching, and usually when the engine is started the code pops up within in a few minutes. Hope this fixes it, I think the LPFP has been a ghost code that it is has been throwing around for a bit
