NJ Emissions clarification

So i'm about to go on a mod rampage and wanna make sure i'm still good for emissions. Anything to be aware of?

Buy a DPFix to bring O2 monitors to readiness, and make sure your JB4 is in map 0 if you plan to use a jb.

Do those things about 50 miles in advance of your inspection to get everything in a ready state when they test the car. Check for yourself with any decent scan tool under I/M monitors.

They don't do sniffer here right? so catless headers shouldn't be a problem

Only for pre-obd maybe but for modern cars they do a "visual" (two times I've been the attendant didn't even bother looking at the screens -- you drive over a camera) and plug into obd.

Yeah I remember they didn't do that but my dad said they do. I just went for inspection like 2 weeks ago took like 5 min lol drove the car in they plugged it and it was out lol.

I see why not, these guys don't care if you have aftermarket parts. As long as you're passing emissions that's all that matters.
