335i Oil Pan Gasket Replacement in San Antonio

Hey guys, I'm reaching out to you all in the San Antonio area to find out how much you have paid to get your oil pan gasket replaced. As some of you may know this isn't a very simple process and requires the sub-frame to have to be removed/lowered. I could do the job myself but would probably end up spending $300 on a hoist and support bar alone so I might as well pay someone else another 300 to do the complete job. That and I don't really have anyone to help, (my wife and a one year old isn't going to be good for much lol).

So far I have been given estimates from $1100 to $1300 here in San Antonio, but yet I have read threads on this forum and others where users state they have paid $600 - $750. Can anyone out there refer me to a shop that charges $500 - $750? This price range seems more reasonable. Thanks in advance.

Just talked to my buddy who owns EurAuto shop in Plano TX....Little bit of a drive from San Antonio but hey, if your saving ENOUGH money its def worth it right Michael, the owner is awesome and is a car guru just like all of us! He was actually a Master Tech at Classic BMW for over 7 years....actually maybe longer now that I think about it...By far the most reasonable shop for sure in the DFW area but really all over Texas!! He is the only person that has installed every single one of my modifications including my LSD, LEVEL 10 trans, RB turbos, inlets, AR oil coolers, KW Variant V4 suspension with calibration and thats just to name a few of the many things Also, he does all of my cars to be honest. Im fortunate enough that Classic BMW would let me bring my 997.1 Porsche TurboS, my fathers Bentley Continental GT Speed ect.....Since he opened his shop a while back, things have been FREAKING AWESOME!!!! He takes care of 99.9% of all NTBC (North Texas Bimmers Club) which is a huge facebook group! NOT A SINGLE COMPLAINT and only good things have been said by members including the admins lol.. Michael is an outstanding guy in and out and he will def take care of your issue. Feel free to give him a call on his cell at 214 552 4194 anytime between 7am-10pm. If he doenst answer just leave a message or shoot him a text and he will promptly get back with you! Good luck and hopefully you will be making a trip up here shortly

I know of a shop that will do it for about 500. He did mine and is one of my customers located in Irving TX. So you would have to drive out here towards Dallas if your wanting a cheaper price. Worth the drive as you can meet the NTBC group and others. If you want more info pm me.

Thanks for the info guys! The next day after creating this thread I ended up going to European Autoparts which is located off of Eckhert and Bandera. They charged $530, plus another $30 for the aluminum bolts that have to be replace. I brought my own oil and filter also (Syntec 0w-30 Euro, Mann filter). After taxes I ended up paying $620 something and it only took them 2 1/2 days. They warranty their work also, worth every penny!

Try German Car Specialists off of 1604. They do very good work and are reasonable. They used to be know as DBC Tuning.

Edit: sorry just realized you got it done already but it's worth keeping them in mind for any 335 work.

Thanks,
I'm sure they do have INPA as well as any other software judging by how many M cars and AMGs they had in there. My repair didn't require any use of software so I'm not sure but google their number and give them a call to make sure.

No worries. Actually I've been there before but forgot all about them . I got a aftermarket clutch delay valve installed there on my 545i long ago.

It's good to hear they got you sorted. Decent shops for the larger jobs are good to have. Thanks for sharing.
