Austin TX AREA - Can anyone tell me where I can go to have a VIRGIN OEM BMW SMART KEY programmed? I Bought one thru the internet and now can't get anyone to program it? Any Ideas?

You can check at the coding forum but
I think you are stuck with the dealer on that if
they will even do it with your key.

But how does that solve the laser cut old hardware key problem.

Also that hardware key has an RFID so it can start the car with

From what I've read you can get order keys from the dealer and it will already be coded to the car when it comes in with the metal key precut. Normally I avoid the stealership at all costs but I think this is a situation where you are better off going to them.
