Looking for Inlet Install Tips

I'm in the process of installing stock location silicone inlets on my 08 335i. The rear inlet is stuck right above the turbo. I've been yanking at it from the bottom with a set of pliers. I'm worried I will do damage to the silicone if I continue to do so. There has to be another way or something I'm missing. I was half tempted to loosen the motor mounts and raise the engine to get the inlet in place. Any pointers would be great.

spray it with wd40 or lube it up. youve done the hard part which is getting the old one off. if not if you are able to drop the engine a bit to get a little more space.

Thank! I'll spray it down with some WD and see if that help.
