But doesn't it throw any codes at all?
You must be on a slow connection. It still lights SES with an EGR code, just no limp mode. The Burger CAN tool takes care of the SES light - and some other nuisance codes as well, I might add.

If my connection is slow then only with this server
Anyway server responds:
This webpage is not available
ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

All other works fine.

With the ses light the problem number one i don't like to have it on even if i know what the issue is. The second problem i have to pass annual test, and all systems must be ready, if i will reset than counters will not update and i will not pass test, if ses is on no pass again.

Ha :-)

Sorry, I used a non specific term that likely implied "more" than intended. How about several? More than 5?

I am seeing the same issue. Not a slow connection.

It all depends on your hose routing. If you have any low spots where water puddling can occur, it could freeze and block the line potentially. There are a number of Midwest and north of border members that take this very seriously. Blockage of line would cause you to build up pressure in crank case and possibly blow seals. Not cold enough in Houston to worry this. I do travel to cooler places though.

This. Also, the North American OEM application has a heater built into the CCV entry point where the crankcase fumes meet the cold intake air, before going into the turbo, to help things not freeze.

I understand that in theory it is possible.
Do we have any example of this happened?

I believe that while engine is running hot gases will evaporate all water from the hoses.

I live in Boston and often driving to Vermont and New Hampshire.
Planning to go to quebec some time at spring.
And never thought about water vapors in engine
