Nice looking car but the miles seem high. How long would it be until you pass 100k and see the resell value plummet.

Is it worth going for a 09 over a 07 etc
I know 09 came with cic but regarding the engine side. Would the 09 still have HPFP and Injector issues and turbo wastegate rattle?

I think that is a cracking car, late 08 and 2009 are the only years where the N54 got the DCT gearbox, N54+DCT is the best combination IMHO, the DCT cars on 335i are quite rare and are holding their value well. The DCT gearbox is something else, a lot more involved than the regular auto for sure.

I remember reading that the late 2009 cars got a revised HPFP ? I also believe the rattle issue was fixed in 09, i think they had different actuator rods (8mm vs 6mm) that didn't cause premature wear, anyways the rattle would be quite obvious, have a listen

Re: High miles, these engines are built to last, I wouldn't be worried, use that to perhaps bring the price down a tad good luck, let us know how u get on..

Just come back from viewing the car

Had the dreaded wastegate rattle so had to walk away this time

Shame though was a nice car otherwise.

I know that it hasn't got the headline bhp stats of the 335i but why not lookout for a good 330i. Stiil lots of fun and no turbo issues to worry about.
