Most of the modders are still in "revertible to stock" mode. I think it's going to be a while before we get critical mass of people who want to really get at it and wipe their butt with their warranty.

I think there might be something on the horizon, not sure of any details yet, just a rumor I heard. No ing for the tease guys, just putting it out there. BTW, I am not affiliated with any company, so don't try to pry, am just relaying what I can to those who want to know.

Was just forced to detune my car because of a slipping clutch that has 2k miles on it. After detune clutch doesn't slip at all. We are all nearing the breaking point of manual clutch that is for sure.

To the OP, I remember hearing talk of UUC coming out with a clutch months ago, but I haven't heard anything about it lately.

I would never put another flywheel in this car unless it was another dual mass flywheel. I could even hear the stock flywheel chatter every once and a while. I could just imagine how loud a single mass flywheel would be.
Oh and all of that crap that UUC says about the sprung hub clutch quieting the sound of the chatter to stock--That's crap! I'm sure it makes it not as loud as non sprign clutches, but the chatter is still loud!

yeah but too some people noise is a sacrifice that is worth having if it means having the ability to mod more. cause let's face it if we all wanted a nice smooth ride with no loud obnoxious noises we would leave our cars stock. |

Why would you want to upgrade the flywheel? It's really not going to gain you anything. The only reason where I think that a flywheel/clutch is necessary is if somebody goes to bigger turbos because of the torque differences. But then again, I'd only go with an upgraded clutch and leave the flywheel stock. Hey man, to each his own. After doing this mod in the past, I'll never do it again. Good luck with finding what your looking for though.
