Where/how can I order shims? My mechanic is in the middle of the swap and it looks like we need shims as the backlash is out of spec. Please PM me as soon as possible.

For anyone in the same situation, we have our new custom C-Clips available now.

We made these slightly thinner than the stock C-Clips, so backlash can easily be adjusted by adding in some regular shims.

These shims are easy to find/modify by any diff/shim/machine shop

I've now had my M-Factory LSD installed for almost half a year and I absolutely love it. I've tracked the car multiple times (road course) and it completely changes the cornering dynamics. Leaves me with a big grin on my face everything I drive it :-)

Oil question-
Will a heavier 75w140 be any quieter than 75w90? I will take it to the track maybe once a month during track season, but obviously more street use.

I have solid subframe (Whiteline poly) and solid diff (Mfactory) mounts and get some minimal noise in the cabin. Actually, it is much quieter than when first installed. I presume as all the mating surfaces were broken in.

I am a bit over 500 miles since install, so I am going to do a fluid change. Just wondering if a heavier oil would be any quieter.

I swapped the fluid from redline 75w90ns to redline 75w140ns. I also used a Dimple plug at the initial install. The Dimple picked up a good amount of metal from break-in, so I would recommend using one of those. Also, the diff is much quieter with new 75w140. If you have solid diff and/or solid subframe bushings, I would recommend 75w140.
