Has anyone replaced their clutch pivot pin with this?
I'm replacing my clutch/fw pretty soon and was hoping someone can shed some light on this aftermarket device: Rogue Engineering Stainless Steel Clutch Pivot Pin.
It looks like it's for an E46 but I've heard it works on our transmission as well. Can someone confirm? I've emailed the company but I haven't received a reply yet. Also, do you recommend this upgrade over the OEM part? Thanks

I've seen the OEM one is $4, and the brass one from ECS is $45.. I'm interested to hear if these metal pivot pins are worth it in any way.

I have replaced mine with and after the 550/650/335is clutch install. For what it cost I would upgrade.

But did you upgrade to the one I linked to or the brass one? My question is will the Rogue part above fit on our clutch/tranny?

As an update, yes, the stainless steel one works on our transmission and you can find it on ebay for $30 shipped. Rogue charges $14 to ship that little thing so I went with the one on ebay which is identical in shape and material.

Sorry, noob to this - what is the result of upgrading this part over stock, aside from durability? Is it anything you can feel?
