I purchased new m3 side skirts for my e90, but I have not had a chance to install them yet. I had them laying in the garage next to my car.
My mom was home with the the garage open on her side (you can see my car from the street). As my dad was driving by he saw some guy walk into our garage so he called my mom. When my mom went outside he ran away. When I arrived home my side skirt was missing. I live in a more upscale neighborhood so I didn't expect it to be taken, especially since it's in my garage (car hasn't moved for weeks), I'm just a little agitated. I'm thinking maybe if I had them installed there wouldn't be an issue, I've seen members say they've had parts taken off their car so who knows? If you see a single black m3 side skirt for sale in the NJ area let me know, lol Anyway ... That's my story. Carey on. |

It's not that my side skirt was stolen that upsets me, it's that the person drove up my entire driveway (which is decently long), peered into my grade, and took the piece all in the middle of the day. |

#1 problem is people think that if they are in a upscale neighborhood that they don't need to worry about theft and such, but if you look at it from the person stealing it, that's the best place to take stuff from is because of people assuming we live in a good area and nothing will go down because it's the burbs or rich area folks

It has to be a friend or someone you know. Why else would someone drive or walk up a long drive way not knowing what kind of goodies they can find, they had to be looking for something..!?!
That sucks though. People are Scummy. I'll keep my eyes out. Sorry for your loss.
