Which oil is the best for N54?

So then what's wrong with bmw's now pennzoil euro synthetic vs. rotella t6?

Not sure if it's readily available in the US but I've been using Millers nanodrive cfs 5w-40 and I've noticed my oil temps have been lower than when using castrol edge. It's not long life but that doesn't bother me as I change the oil every 7k miles anyway.
