ETS lower chargepipe fitment issues
Hello,
I installed an ETS 5" IC, the ETS lower CP, and ER CP last weekend. I wanted the ER CP because it allows for use of the stock mounting bracket but when I put in the ETS lower CP it only fit after some finagling. I really had to force it onto the IC as low as it would go and then it barely fit against the ER CP at an awkward angle. Luckily I was still able to get the hosing connected in a way that allowed it to hold boost. Have you guys noticed fitment issues with the lower charge pipe as well? Has anybody got OEM-like fitment using an aftermarket lower CP? If needed, I can post a picture later when I'm off work. |

I can't comment directly on the ETS lower cp, but I have the vrsf lower cp that came with my IC, and an ER cp. They both mate fine, the ER mounting hole lines up but just barely enough for the bolt to go through.
Maybe you can try with a longer coupler that may allow some more slack? |
