Expansion Tank / Hose Coolant leak
Question:
I'm leaking coolant between the bottom fitting of the expansion tank and the hose that clips in there with a c-clip. Is there an oring in this fitting I could replace? Does anyone have any experiance with a similar leak? It seems like an oring issue and would rather not have to replace the Tank (100$) and the hose (100$) Thanks, Nate |

I recently had a small leak coming from the expansion tank. When I took my car to the dealership (still under warranty) they replaced the o-ring, expansion tank, and the hose running to the radiator.
I guess the expansion tanks are known to crack, according to my SA. |

Edit: Yep, looks like they did. It was revised in 2013. The new part number is 17137640514. |
