I don't know if previous owner changed it on 30K. It's 37K now and I'm not sure if it's that urgent to change fuel filter? In my previous cars I never ever changed fuel filter and never had any issues. I always use known big brands gas stations and premium fuel. Never heard a horror stories here in Canada that someone got issues from not changing fuel filter. Am I being too optimistic?

I have 122k and have never changed the fuel filter.

I run techtron 20 gallon complete formula through the gas tank 2x a year, and i only run 93 octane gas.

6 months ago, went on a 400 plus mile trip, which was mostly Hwy. I average 30.5 mpg with the cruise set between 77-79 mph and in some cases 80-81 or so.

OP, the fuel filter is not a periodic maintenance item for these cars. The fuel filter is integrated with the fuel pump, so you have to by a fuel pump to replace it. I'm at 298K on my original fuel filter. There is no need to change it. I've used 1 bottle of Lucas fuel injector cleaner (just because I got it for free as a promotion at a parts store), and that was maybe 5 months ago. Just because I'm a geek I keep records of such things... as of March 11, I've run over 11,000 gallons of fuel through the car.

Leave the filter alone.

Unrealted, getting some stats on 2007 models. Have your turbos been replaced?

Nope. At 122.5k and still going strong. Not even waste-gate rattle.

Thats great. Im guessing you are stock tune? Mine are dying at 89k, appears WG issues.

A bit off-topic, but don't want to create yet another thread, a question for you sir: if car was sitting for 3-4 years in a garage without moving (2007 but only 37K, so I'm more concerned with fluids going bad, rather than mileage intervals in this case), but now it's driving just like brand new, what fluids would you replace going by priority? Oil/filter is already replaced of course. Assume I have a low budget. Thank you.

P.S. I'm trying to prioritize what to change and what can wait a bit till next time. Thank you for understanding.

Yep, daily driver. I use a K & N air filter and I have AFE air scoops attached to the intake snorkels in the kidney grill area. Stock tune. Nothing special.

I'd definately change the coolant and flush the brake system as a priority. Is it a manual or an automatic? The diff fluid is fine.

Thank you! It's auto (unfortunately). I had vibrations from torque converter, but now they are gone and it's smooth again. Do you think I need to change ATF too?
