High idle
Long story short. My car has been running great for months and now all of a sudden my idle went from 600 to 750-800
Apart from that everything seems fine. Any idea what this could be from ?

Is that from when you first start the car, or does it jump up from about 650 to the higher idle when warmed up?
Sometimes mine does the same thing when its fully warmed up and I come to a stop at lights etc. I believe its common from reading on here, Im sure somebody will chime in with the actual reason

That used to happen when my injectors were leaking. There would be like mini-misfires and the car would shake at idle a little, then the idle would raise to 750-800. After I changed all injectors to index 12 it went away.

my number 6 injector recently looked like black death upon pulling it out and replacing all of them with index 12s. Car never misfired or anything on that cylinder, but the car started idling higher around 850rpms (normal is 600-650rpms) like i had the AC on, but no AC was on. also started to feel little stumbles when driving around and slowing down to a stop. replaced all injectors within a couple of days of the start of that happening (not driving the car and leaving it parked) and the car idles normal now. In logs, my lpfp, hpfp, and both bank afrs looked fine. never got a misfire code like i said, but it looked identical to the pic you posted. cylinder 1-5 injectors looked 100% fine. cylinder 6 injector is the only one that looked like that. I dont think it can do too much damage initially, but if you continue to drive the car for a while and push it, it could prob lead to bigger issues (head damage, ect)

Would a slight misfire caused by plugs / coils cause the same result? I have noticed a very slight stumble as well before it goes up to higher idle. Its only when the car is at full operating temperature, does that fact point towards injectors specifically?
The car idles smoothly otherwise and starts quickly.
