Red face Installed sstt and broke the stupid clip

Well, I installed my sstt today, but I managed to brake the stupid clip from the TMAP sensor. Should I worry about this? I used a penny, but I jammed it too far I guess and broke the clip clean off. I know, i'm stupid

u shouldnt be too worried, u can buy a new tmap sensor for about 60-80bucks, its fairly easy to install, jus two bolts holding it.

if not u can leave it as is, the turbo tuner will still hold itself in via the rubber seal.

Ok, sweet. I am just worried that the dealer will see it and start asking questions. I forgot to mention that I drove the car and did some spirited driving with it and no limp mode, so it's still plugged in there. Thanks for telling me not to search, lol.

use something really thin next time to lift the clip, a penny might be a little too thick...
I think Jeff@Eurobahn sells the TMAP sensors direct.
Although it seems like it would be a PITA to take it out because there's not much room there to work with a screwdriver.

Yeah, I purchased this used from a member on here though. Oh well, the car feels great though, although it's starting to feel like stock again, but I already looked it up and I guess I will just wait a couple of days to see if it needs to adapt anymore. Thanks to all who responded!

Also be sure that when using a dime (what I used when I had TT) you just slide it under the clip but DO NOT pry up at all. If you slide the dime under there you can then just put a fingernail into the groove at the end of the plug and push the plug down and out. No prying up needed.
